In addition, Matt has served as the Manager for EMS Operations since October of 2015.  He focused on the day-to-day relationships with multiple EMS partners to strengthen education, efficiency, and the customer and patient experience.

 

“Matt’s promotion to Vice President of Operations will allow him to continue to use evidence-based practices, strategies and action plans to help align and achieve local and system goals,” said John Jurczyck, FACHE, President, Good Samaritan Medical Center.

 

He will have oversight of multiple hospital departments including Facilities, Environmental Services, Radiology, Laboratory Services and Food Services.

 

Prior to his tenure at Good Samaritan Medical Center, Matt held several positions within the Steward Health Care system including Manager of Performance and Regulatory Preparedness at Morton Hospital from 2013-2014, Quality and Performance Improvement Analyst for Steward Corporate Offices in Boston from 2011-2013 and a position in Finance and Administration at Carney hospital from 2009-2011.

 

Matt attended Boston College where he received a B.A. in History with a focus on Business Law and Economics. He is currently working towards a Master’s Degree from Southern New Hampshire University in Business Administration with a focus on Healthcare Administration.
