John A. Jurczyk Assumes Helm of Good Samaritan Medical Center

Today, Steward Health Care System LLC (Steward) announced the appointment of John A. Jurczyk, FACHE, as president of Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton, MA. Jurczyk has served as interim president of Good Samaritan Medical Center since February 2014. Previously, he was COO of Steward’s Saint Anne’s Hospital in Fall River.

“John has served in leadership roles within the Steward system for more than ten years and he has done an excellent job as interim president of Good Samaritan Medical Center. We believe he will continue to be an excellent leader of Good Samaritan Medical Center,” said Mark Girard, M.D., president of Steward Hospital Company, a division of Steward.

Prior to joining Good Samaritan Medical Center in February 2014, Jurczyk served in a variety of leadership roles at Saint Anne’s Hospital, including VP of ambulatory care and business development and most recently as COO. A pharmacist by training, Jurczyk has also worked in leadership positions at Maine Medical Center, Providence Hospital, Winchester Hospital and other hospitals in New England.
