Good Samaritan Medical Center Offers “Walk with a Doc” with Dr. David Mudd

BROCKTON – Good Samaritan Medical Center is partnering with The Psi Iota Omega chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Old Colony YMCA, Westgate Mall, and the American Heart Association to present “The Heart is a Serious Matter - A Day in the Fight for a Healthier Heart.”

This event will feature a “Walk with a Doc” with David Mudd, MD, Primary Care Physician with Steward Medical Group.  Dr. Mudd, an Easton Resident, devotes much of his time outside of the office to support the community, whether through the Easton Lion’s Club or The Old Colony YMCA.

“I love helping my patients lead healthy lives,” said David Mudd, MD.  “Sometimes it means meeting them where they are  and not in the office, so I enjoy getting out and into the community. These walks are an informal way for me to help someone who may not otherwise make an appointment.”

The Heart is a Serious Matter will also host health screenings, CPR demonstrations, Zumba classes, door prizes, and more. Essential information on how to live a “heart healthy” lifestyle and the management of hypertension will be discussed throughout the day.

The event will take place on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at the Westgate Mall, located at 200 Westgate Drive, Brockton, MA, 12:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M.
