Good Samaritan welcomes new Endocrinologist to Medical Staff

Dr. Saeed recently served as the Director of Inpatient Diabetes at the University of Minnesota Medical Center in Minneapolis where he also completed his fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism. 
 
 
Dr. Saeed brings with him over 20 years of expertise in the field including several teaching credentials. Saeed completed his residency in Internal Medicine at St. Mary’s Health Center in St. Louis, MO before moving to Minnesota for his aforementioned fellowship.
 
“We are excited to expand our endocrine program here at Good Samaritan Medical Center,” said John A. Jurczyk, President.  “We have a high patient population that has been diagnosed with diabetes, and we’ve seen an increased rate of obesity.  As a medical center our goal is to treat these concerns in a preventative way, but to also provide the best possible management skills for those already diagnosed.  Dr. Saeed brings with him a wealth of experience and knowledge in this area.”
 
Dr. Saeed will begin treating patients in December and will specialize in the areas of Diabetes, Diseases of the Thyroid, Pituitary, and Adrenal Glands, Osteoporosis, Testicular and Ovarian Disorders, and Obesity.
