Good Samaritan Medical Center Welcome Guide for Patient and Families

Visiting Hours & Information

Your care can be enhanced by occasional visits from your friends and family. Of course, the reason for your hospital stay is to receive treatment, so we hope that your visitors understand and respect that patient care needs are our first and foremost concern. Patients need rest and privacy.

Please share this information with your visitors so they will be aware of the following visiting policies:

Visitor Policy Effective 2/20/24:

To best ensure the health and safety of our patients and staff, visitor restrictions are currently in place.

All Visitors, Outpatients, and Outpatient Companions must:

  • Refer to signage at the hospital entrances for the latest guidance and policies.

There are very limited exceptions to these policies, including for minor patients, patients with guardians, end-of-life/advanced care planning, or other extenuating circumstances.  All exceptions to these policies must be approved by the patient’s care team prior to your visit. Please note that Good Samaritan Medical Center may need to implement additional infection control procedures during an outbreak.

We encourage family members and friends to use alternative ways to interact with their loved ones, including phone calls, Facetime, and Skype.
